The DaCosta Lab offers outstanding summer research opportunities. Our research team members work with students to gradually immerse them into the professional environment within the framework of a wide range of preclinical and clinical studies, benchtop research and technologies in a supportive, educational interprofessional work environment. Students will be expected to attend educational programs, such as seminars and networking activities, and present a research project at the end of term to a group of cancer researchers. This is an opportunity to work in a leading academic and clinical research environment, meet new people and help you think about your future career path.
This opportunity is open to high school students in grade 11 or 12 and undergraduate university students (year 1-4). If you are interested, please send the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Lastest mark sheet/transcript
- Cover letter stating your interest in the DaCosta lab and your future goals
- Reference letter from a professor/teacher
Unfortunately, we will not be accepting any applications for the 2021 Summer Term due to the pandemic. We look forward to receiving your applications at the end of the year for 2022 opportunities.
