The DaCosta Lab offers outstanding summer research opportunities. Our research team members work with students to gradually immerse them into the professional environment within the framework of a wide range of preclinical and clinical studies, benchtop research and technologies in a supportive, educational interprofessional work environment. Students will be expected to attend educational programs, such as seminars and networking activities, and present a research project at the end of term to a group of cancer researchers. This is an opportunity to work in a leading academic and clinical research environment, meet new people and help you think about your future career path.
This opportunity is open to high school students in grade 11 or 12 and undergraduate university students (year 1-4). If you are interested, please send the following information to email@example.com:
- Lastest mark sheet/transcript
- Cover letter stating your interest in the DaCosta lab and your future goals
- Reference letter from a professor/teacher
The deadline for the submission of these documents for the summer 2020 term is February 20th, 2020. Once all the applications have been reviewed, you will be notified if you are selected for an interview.
